In Balyuzi’s book, Baha’u’llah The King of Glory, Baha’u’llah is said to have instructed someone to say these two sentences 19 times daily. I sometimes think of one of the Names of God while saying the two sentences below:
“He who puts his trust in God, God will suffice him. He who fears God, God will send him relief.”
I start out every day reciting these two sentences above to myself, and I am convinced this practice gives me more courage, strength, hope, and confidence to face my life one day at a time, with the attitude of seeking progress instead of perfection.
Jessica Gaines uses the first sentence above, in a personal chant with a hand drum.
